This is Fairtrade Fortnight. To mark the event Hella Alikuru from Uganda talked to the children about the importance of supporting the Fairtrade movement.

 


8th February '10

This is enrolment week. The Board of Management is now accepting enrolments for the school year 2010/2011. To enrol a child you first need to complete an enrolment application form. You may call contact the school to request one or you can download an application form and return it to the school.

 


5th February '10

We held our Bring and Buy Sale and raised money for those who are suffering because of the recent Earthquake in Haiti. Thanks to all parents and pupils for your support.

We will be holding a Bring & Buy Sale on Friday 5th February in the school in aid of the Haitian people who are suffering because of the recent earthquake. All are welcome in the school at 1:30 p.m. on the day.

 


13th January '10

Repairs have been completed and school will open as usual on Thursday 14th January.

 


12th January '10

The heating and water system has failed despite having been checked and run each day for the past two weeks. It was functioning every day until today (Tuesday 12th). Every effort is being made to repair the system as soon as possible.

Considerable damage has been done by frost despite the system having a working frost control setting. It is hoped to have the school open on Thursday 14th but this is not certain. Repair depends on a thaw and available parts.

The school community will be updated by text as soon as possible. Sincere apologies for inconvenience caused.

School will be closed on Thursday and Friday (7th and 8th January) due to the exceptionally cold weather.

6th Class have shared Christmas presents with each other!

5th and 6th Classes attended the Dear Grace awards ceremony in The Helix.

3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Classes took part in A Taste of Hallelujah concert for our parents. 5th and 6th Classes will be singing in the R.D.S. on Saturday!

Swimming has begun again for 1st - 6th Classes. Infants and 1st Classes have begun their yoga classes and 4th, 5th and 6th Classes have football lessons each week.
